Making tracks in the Land of Persia
The 4th luxurious train carrying international tourists with different nationalities arrived in Iran on Saturday May 16th from Turkey.
The Eurasia train crossed the Razi crossing point on Turkish border at 11:30 hours local time for the first time to make its historic entrance from Razi border to the Islamic Republic of Iran, said Mr. Ali Vaghefi the Iran Doostan Tours’ Director.
Iran was the host of other international trains in the past years as well such as the one from Europe which was entered Iran in the year of 2014 and the other 3 international trains at the following year.
The Eurasia train is one of the private luxury and comfortable train with seven luxury wagons; which each wagon worth one and half to two million dollars. Complete services and facilities such as double & single accommodation, 2-3 restaurants, bar and conference car.
Different nationalities from all over the world can be seen among the travellers in this luxurious train.
The Silk Road of Persia journey is part of Iran’s plan to promote its tourism industry. “Silk Road”, retracing one of the most important trading routes of ancient civilization, that follows in the footsteps of such legendary figures as Alexander the Great and Marco Polo. For centuries, merchants and adventurers journeyed to and from China on ancient routes through some of the most testing landscapes in the world trading silk, spices and perfumes. These ‘highways’ – stretching some 4,000 miles (6,400 km) – collectively came to be called the ‘Silk Road’.
The 44 tourists visited cities of Tabriz, Yazd, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tehran in Iran; which Tehran would be the last visited city and destination in their journey where they could have their flight back home from.
