Iran the Next Travel Hotspot of 2016 Became the Breaking Headlines of Media

We are thrilled by the good news from the annual WTM exhibition in London that this year Iran is in the list of the most popular destinations of 2016. China, Mexico, and Iran respectively were the top three countries that the British holidaymakers and senior executives voted as their destinations at World Travel Market 2015.

According to the WTM annual industry report this year, voted by 2,050 stakeholders (buyers and exhibitors at the show) and 1,038 British holidaymakers, 16% of the travelers were interested to visit Iran and three out of 10 business leaders intent to do more business in Iran in 2016.

The senior exhibition director of WTM, Simon Press, said that as a result of agreements between Tehran and 5+1 “many overseas firms looking to do business in Iran – and tourism companies are leading the way.”

Following the nuclear agreements and removing sanctions the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office said “the risk to British nationals has changed, in part due to decreasing hostility under President Rouhani’s government.” which removes his earlier advisory against all but essential travel to Iran.

TTN, Iran Daily, Financial Tribune, Trade Arabia, BBC, FTN News, Yahoo Finance, Reuters, TTG Nordic and Travel Weekly are among the media that covered the news of Iran becoming the most popular destination of 2016 for tourists and businessmen.
