A Night to Celebrate Eid al-Fitr and our German Friends
IRAN DOOSTAN TOURS team enjoyed a dinner gathering on Tuesday, July 5 to celebrate Eid al Fitr in a beautiful place in north of Tehran. Managing director, board of directors, and department managers were invited to this great feast plus two of our great members who work with us from over the borders Mrs. Ludia Grafenstein and Mr. Peter Kerber.
It was a memorable night with our loyal and hardworking members and a good time for us to appreciate enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment in their career which contributed to our success over the years.
We had another reason to celebrate this night and it was the 16th anniversary of Peter Kerber attendance to IDT team and his collaboration with us from Germany. Peter has worked and lived in Iran for some time and he extensively travelled the country with Abbas Jafari. Iran Doostan Tours management decided to work with Peter when they meet him sixteen years ago.
Peter returned to Germany in 2000 and IDT appointed him as its representative. Due to his great knowledge in all aspects of Iran, he was asked by Trescher Publishers in Berlin to write a guide book for traveling to Iran. The first issue of this book was published in 2010 in 600 pages and became the most popular Iran travel book in German language and the fourth edition of his book was released in 2015.
