UAE’s Rotana Unveils New Hotels in Iran
The hotel management firm Rotana expects to be the first international chain to set up shop in Iran since the 1979 Islamic revolution terminated all foreign hotel contracts.
UAE-based Rotana, the hotel management company, announced the signing of 10 new hotels in the Iran, UAE, Tanzania and Sudan.
The company said in a statement that all the new hotels are expected to open their doors before 2020.
Rotana announced its plans to enter the Iranian market with four properties, all of which will be opened under the company’s alcohol-free brand Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana.
